Poly modelling in 3dsmax5 - line problem

(This happens to be my first modelling attempt)

I need help making my lines straight with corners around the window sills, when i apply meshsmooth it screws the thing up!
Is there a way to do this WITHOUT the crease option? Illustration below -->
