Can anyone advise me on making text form from smoke. I've used fluid containers in Maya to make text layers melt away, which is a fairly easy process. I'd like to get the simulation to work in reverse, just playing the simulation backwards doesn't look right. I know how I could make a particle system hit a goal to form the text but don't think this would look as good as a dynamic fluid system.
Any thoughts or pointers would be greatly received.
