character with lights

Hello there boys and girls.
posted this character b4, but thought I would start working on the scene a little, my question is, I have a script called e- light, that fakes GI, should I set the multiplier setting of that higher to get the right look or should I add extra lights for the character and tree etc.The first pic is with extra lights, second one just with e- light.

I usually use a direct or spot light for the main illumination..shadow casting..whatever.
And setup an E-Light dome to kinda soften the shadows or add a color mood to the scene..

The only time I really use E-Light by itself is to view a model or scene grey-textured to focus on detail/errors/etc.
Your character looks nice btw. :)
