A max script I'd like to do but don't know how

I'd like to do a dockable Polygon Counter (like the one in the utility tab).

Do someone has a good link to tell me how I could script or know if such a script exists ?

(no I don't like the one in the viewport ;))

Ok I just take a look at the maxscript reference and I don't understant a thing (maybe pragraming skills would be helpful here... :roll: )
