Your camera focal length is producing some really really nasty looking fish-eye distortions in the color renders (the tops of the smaller spires are very distorted).

That minor detail aside, very cool looking model.

Personally, I like color render #3, but maybe that's just me.

I like the night render, light works really well on those, good modeling too.

It looks like an amazing model, but the rendering and textures do not show off the model very well. I would prefer some exciting camera angles. The large area of grass and the dark water are really letting this down a bit.

thanks for the comments guys, this is the most replys I have gotten for any of my work posted on here.

the problem with the model is it is very wide and is therefore very hard to get the whole model in the camera frame. That would explain the use of the fish eye lense and I why I added the render from the front veiwport. again cause of the width it is hard to show off the model in a more exciting way.

well, it's a large model for sure but now that you've shown us the model in its entirety and from afar, why not give us a couple of close-ups? It's nice to see the whole thing but it would be interesting if you brought us there! :)

Here are new renders of slightly closer up, I have battled to get an angle that shows off the building in an aesthetic way so I think I will call it quits for now.

I love all the details you put in there. It must have taken you at least 15 minutes to model all that!! :haha:

One thing I will say is that the renders look cold. Did you use white lights for your lighting? I believe a warmer yellowish light would have made it feel more welcoming.

Still, one good job! grats!

one thing that puzzles me, i just now saw your post - why is that everything looks so rugged - can you bring up the quality of the model a bit - some rounded edges look more like polygons, shading acts similar, as if it's falling on a flat surface rather on a rounded one.

I applaud you on the number of elements, but i reckon they could look a bit smoother...
