Outta curiousity, would "Washed Up Superhero" also incorporate superheroe's that turned sides? I.E. a criminal batman iron man?

Another question, lol, sorry, wanna make sure im as clear on the topics as I can be. I figure we would have to use a pre-existing hero, correct? So we couldnt make up our own villain, etc.?

pre-existing, that way everyone knows what the person is supposed to look like.

gender bender... wonderman might be a giggle

this is hard. I'll go with deep sea creature as I haven't done a monster in about 5 years

Here's a question about the washed up super hero challenge, could we create a superhero from a television show... (i.e. my avatar). its powdered toast man but hes from the tv show "ren and stimpy" is that allowed?

I know we the subject hasn't officially been declared but here's a short list of ideas that popped into my head...feel free to use them if you want...

Daredevil on a comedy club stage
Batman severely overweight lying on a sofa with money everywhere
Batman in bed afraid of the dark
Mr. Fantastic being a trampoline for kids parties
Thor as an opera singer
Ironman rusted
The Thing doing a commercial for Hemmoroids
Wolverine as a butcher or chef
Joker as a clown in a circus
The Torch as an arsonist
Sandman as a beach comber
Wonder Woman surrounded by screaming kids in a supermarket with a several full carts and coupons in hand.

iro-bot3 - Id imagine thats fine, there isnt a DC or Marvel only restriction, BUT a parody of a parody might be quite hard to pull off.

Its been done in the comics before several times, I think it was something Ross did in one of his debacles. I think youll find most heroes have been 'What If'd" and dirtied up so many times in the last 10 years that a real change would be to do a clean cut hero saving the day.

Thats kinda why Miller did the second (perhaps not so well recieved or understood), Darkknight series - in his own words "Giving us back our heroes", he himself grew tired of the recycling of his work and style.

Its also possibly why Joss Whedon of Buffy fame has become such an appreciated Marvel writer these days, adding a certain amount of Golden age feeling and realistic humour back into the genre.

well, it more or less means, past their prime. So examples could be, old, out of shape, married, homeless, stuff like that.
