dont know if this has come up before, but i was jsut wondering if anybody knew of a site or anything that could give me annual or monthly wages (in us or canadian dollers) of a 3d designer or animator, that would be greatly appreaciated.

I saw this in a book last year so I'm not sure how much things changed since then, but you can make anywhere from 50-100k Canadian a year! :O im probably wrong but if it enough to keep me living im up for it.

The problem is that wages for a 3d artist, whether you're an animator, modeler, td or all around artist vary widely depending on location, industry and experience. Often it is not as much as you would expect.

A couple links to check out:

The survey info is a couple of years old. However, it is still good information.
