All the elements involved in the render (materials, lights, cameras, ...) are based on physically accurate models up to the point that when you hit render a simulation of the real behavior of light happens inside.

Moreover, fryrender is the first engine of its kind capable of transforming scenes into a format that can be navigated in real-time with the aid of our Virtual Reality technology Random Control 4.

Yes, it's a great renderer, I like it, but its a bit slow. Even you can change some render parameters during the render process, without stopping it, great.

Which would you say is better, Maxwell or Fry Render? Both seem to do the same job by the looks of it.

Haha in the Gallery, there is a finished model of the Logitech Control Pod, of the set I've been modelling :o I didn't think anyone had tried to do it before and posted it.

I haven't tried Maxwell, actually they look so similar, but for me, fryrender has some features wich are so interesting, like the random control or the aeronoise, and the fact you can change render parameters while you render without stopping rendering, and the blending layers.

You won't be getting this image out of Maxwell:

Maxwell s.s.s. has no material slots.

If you ask people (like me) who own both you will hear that Fry is better by most everyone.
