Hi

I'm working on a scene in 3ds max displaying a room with a window. The room is lit by a sunlight coming from the outside and few lamps inside the room. Now i've come across two problems:

1. There is a glass window, reflecting the interiors of the room. Opacity set to about 5. How can I setup the light to shine through the glass window?

2. I'd like to have some tiny dust particles in the air, made visible where the sunlight is. How can i do that (volume lights?)

1. Make sure your lights are casting ray traced shadows.

2. Depends on the density of dust. If you want clouds of dust like in an old house volume light is the way to go. If on the other hand you just one a few dust particles here and there I'd simply paint them in afterwards with photoshop.
