True that I cant wait, I hope this time will have more texture room to play with, so if animal warrior wins we could go into some nice fur detailing. :evil:

as far as animal warrior goes, would that be confined to martial arts, or would an animal soldier count? i would think 2048 maps would be enough to get good fur detail. i imagine there will be lots of pandas in karate clothes. if it wins it could give me a chance to revisit kuan kong.

Now, when we say animal warriors, could we also be referring to warriors using animal gear, such as the aztecan warriors who dressed like eagles? or Strictly literal animals that are warriors?

EDIT: Also, if we have to stick to literal animals, do they have to be real or can they be mythical like a Phoenix?

If animal warrior does win can the brief include an environmental stand too? Something like 1500 tris with 1x1024x1024 for the stand and about the same for the model. Might make it a bit more interesting if people have to put their model into context through a small environment piece rather than the usual model + weapon style of contest

good question waiting for an answer on that one, 6000 tris and 2048 map sounds perfact cant wait till we start I'll be sure to finish this time. :wall:

well, when I said animal warrior, I meant animals in general, can be mytological or not, but only animals..... but who am I to decide that right? heheh let the godfather give the final word!

I can handle literal animals, as long as they can be mythical too lol. Hopefully we shall hear the word soon
