Speed Painting Challenge no. 78

Topic: Anime Style

Idea: Seeing as the Olympics is going on in China, I thought I might be cool to do an anime style challenge. So here is the idea, draw/paint something, anything, but it needs to be in an anime style. If you want, you can do fan art of your favorite anime character, or you could even take your favorite none anime character, and anime their butt. If your not sure what anime is, google it, but be warned, turn your parental filter on.

Deadline: 11:59 pm (GMT) Sunday 24th of August. (use the time zone thread to make sure your done in time)

Prizes: (must be at least 6 entries)
Winner gets to choose one of the following options:
- 6-month subscription to the 2DCreative magazine
- 6-month subscription to the 3DCreative magazine

Rules:

-Any medium is allowed, as long as it can be put into digital form - scanned, photographed, etc.

- Since it's a speed painting, it should be finished in the smallest amount of time possible, but if you paint a whole day, you won't get disqualified . But for example, 4 days is too much

- IF YOU PAINT MULTIPLE ENTRIES, YOU NEED TO STATE BEFORE THE DEADLINE WHICH ONE YOU LIKE THE BEST. IF NOT – I’LL DO IT FOR YOU

- References can be used - 3D or photograph, BUT you can't paint over them. It has to be your own painting.

- Custom brushes can be used, but to some extent - they can't be pre-made parts of the future painting, like a whole tree, brush, cloud, explosion, lighting... you get the point. They can be - a couple of leaves, a couple of grass blades

- There will be a final entry thread, use it. Voting will also take place in that thread.

well here is one of my entries about 4 Hours total, (45 Min's on line work - then scan and spent the other 3 hours and 15 Min's on the coloring). I kinda wanted to do it as a comic cover, and was inspired a little by Star War and AppleSeed concept (little). :D Can't wait to see what others come up with. :)

2 hours 45 min in so far. I need to hurry it up a bit lol. will see if can spend another hour or so tomorow and make it look at least marginally complete.

Well this is the first time i enter a speed painting challenge...
I've been watching this thread for some time, and i saw that the theme this time was anime, and since i am seeing "Naruto" i couldn't resist to do something...
I made a drawing by hand on a paper block(30min), then i digitilized it, and painted it on photoshop(30min)...
It was the first time that i paint something in photoshop, and i had so much fun...

Ok, here's my crack at this (I don't really do Anime). It's tetsuo from Akira and he's mad. But then again I suppose you would be pretty pissed too if you're right arm turned into a crazy lifeform.

Goku is the strongest manga character of all time, no one can beat him.

I do remember that beach episode when Ren was on steroids though.

I take back my last statements I would have to say Majin Buu. He actually killed Goku, BUT Goku came back and fused with Vegeta and became Gogeta (don't know if I speed It right). Then Gogeta Kick majin Buu A**. :D (yes I know I'm a geek). :D

noo, stimpy was the catcher - this is evident in the epsiode where they were living in a hobo's mouth (I think it was a pilot, the other episodes seem somewhat toned down)

heres my work, its Fraulen from Neon Genesis Evangelion, made it with pencil on paper and added some colours with photoshop, background is not mine, it is from a CD that came with my ComputerArts No 107...hope u like
