Cant control the skining

I have skinned the body of my model.

But now when i am skinning the Hand.. It dont work..

The Envelopes that i use to mark the place to rig. Is HARD on the hand

It the a way to say to smax.. Use this and this vertex/face

Of course there is, Go to vertex sub-object in physique modifier!! well if you r using physique !!

But anyway I did not understand what do you mean with "..Is HARD on the hand"

physique modifier?

Is it in the character studio setup or in the skintool

Yes, physique is a skin modifier shipped with character studio it has five different sub-objects including envelopes and vertex... but never mind I'm sure that your problem could be solved using skin modifier but I still can not understand your problem!!
