Hi,
I really like the last picture, with the sky.
But, i don't like the white end blue map you used for the buildings (only my point of view).
Anyway, good work.

You could definately put more time into texturing the structures. However, I like the modelling, it reminds me of Panzer Dragoon :)

yeah. but this was done a year ago, when i was just startin off in max. i've just rerendered it with better lighting and environment becuase i'm making a quick showreel/webfolio for uni work.
i like the texture for larger areas, but i'd like to vary it on the smaller buildings. more skycraper type textures.
keep the comments coming
hehehe, cool!
Itīs so cute, looks like a toy flying city.
How does it float anyway?

lol, cute?? never thought of it that way. But it is a completely fantatstical concept, i wasnt really going for "real life".
anyways. u see those yellow things underneath it? well thier the "special pulsar things" ( i have a 2 page essay on how the whole city works) . Any way these pulsars produce a "special" energy that relay off a "special" disk thats on the ground. this force keeps it afloat. it also has these funky legs.
well, thats the general idea. theres a ton of stuff to explain.

I like this picture, but I agree to the zoo-prod, you would have to spend more time with the textures
HAha! I just love it when a creation grows beyond the limit of the image/video itself inside the minds of the crafter.....or something:D
About the cute thing, I mean, because of the funky texture and the simplicity of the mesh (and I certanly do not mean this in a bad way, itīs just that a city would have a gazillion dettails) is kinda of.........cute......hehe
great stuff!
Ohm, shouldnīt the pulsar thingies like, emmit some kind of light?

I don't know, but your image don't give me the impression of big size. It looks like something small. Not as a big thing floating in the air...

The desing is interesting, but the textures make it look very small, like a foot long or something.
