When posting your final image please upload it on an external server (imageshack.us preferably) and use the image tag.

Please include the following in your post:


Your name
Short description of the image
Technical details (how long it took, what software did you use etc.)
(OPTIONAL) A link to your WIP thread if you created any


Don't forget that the minimum accepted width/height is of 1024!

Ok time for my final ..........after a bit of playing around i never got to complete my second entry .......so ill just be going with this one.
Final res is at 3000 px .....this one is 1700

Its all done in photoshop with 3d elements (the structures) all rendered out with cinema 4d.
The image took around 15-20 hours i think all up ............

Lets go people......not much time to get your finals up ;)

About 20 hours using photoshop cs3
Final resolution about 4000x1900 It was way more work than i expected :crazy:

All of these works are fantastic. I really don't have the patience to sit down and paint at this high level of quality. I prefer to do stuff like this in 3D. Fantastic work everyone.

this is my first matt painting for challange. I think this is not as good to sub mit but I have spend much time studying it so that I m submitting it. so much wonderful work I wonder how people work very neat and clean .

This was very dificult, to try to make a ruin in deep sea were there is not ligth from sun, but from some volcanoes in deep sea.

Uh - Oh, long awaited moment came :D I have to mention that the theme was tropical *sci-fi* city, hence even tho some entries were excelent, they couldn't be taken into consideration.

Mr, Peculiar Nice work you deserve to be first. Yeah too bad some of the guys (me included) were not able to finish the works done. Work can be very time consuming.

Oh well better luck next time then.
