Super Quick site

well i just bought a .com and hosting the other day and figured i might as well put something up before the summer, when I plan to get the site going proper.

this is 1 day of work. Not a lot there, just a space for me to vent and make the odd joke/crit.

Smart looking site and some nice complementary colours as well.
You might need to make some alterations to allow for archives of your images to be viewed as your collection of work grows though, it seems that the entire site is on one page (except for the gallery images) which you might want to look at for things like an resume or 2d art section.

Still, it's looking good.

thanks mate :) it's really a very temporary site, although it's rapidly improving and i might change my mind and use this structure anyway!


made a few chnages through the course of the day and it's coming together, and i won't have any problems adding new sections in the future as you mention.

Yeah great choice of colors, and I like the lighter outlines around the boxes. BUT its way to linier (however that word is spelled :) ) I would break things into sections of different pages for sure.

i'll add sections when i have more time. I'll probably just have a thin bar on the left side which slides out the menu on mouseover. keep it simple :)

also i might change some of the layout of updates, looks a bit busy and i want it to feel as airy as possible.

other than that, this is my first site using php, and it's just great to have such a simple way of updating! I'm converted, but now i need to learn it!
