Free online Media Exibition

Hello,
The organization called Art Exchange is currently setting up an online gallery exibition in order to incorage growth outside there local art community. The opening exibition is free to anyone and the artwork can be of any form (painting, drawing, digital art, photography music, poetry... and so on) Also there is no limit to the amount of images submitted. If anyone is interested all you would need to do is post an image of your work in a good resolution, we will then contact you to confirm your permission to use this image. If you agree it will be formatted to a standard size and included in our online opening exibition next week.

For any other further information I can be contacted personally if not through this forum.

My appoligies if this is the inappropriate place for posting my message, however if people are posting there work under this thread, "image gallery" sounded suitable...

At the expense of sounding cynical, what benefit do the atrists receive?! These modelers spend countless hours developing the images on this forum. Sounds like you are offering nothing.

Well in regards to what Art Exchange will offer here is what I can say...

The reason for creating this group was to locally have an organization for artist to exchange work and information, a kind of hub for interchanging ideas.

We are setting up galleries and shows around local areas and are now setting up an online community in order to connect a larger group of people. Also the use of an online community allows for us to have exhibitions online.

The point was asked as what Art Exchange will offer that this forum does not. Well first of all I want to say that I'm not hoping to take away from this community. I visit 3dtotal everyday and this it's a great resource for 3d artist. However what we are doing with Art Exchange is to take the aspect of what the forum offers but with more of a focus around the community rather than just a posting area for them. The gallery and group of people as well are from a range of artist that can work in any medium. And so my offer is here for 3D artist that would want to contribute to this more diverse community.
Unfortunately I can not offer or show current work that has been in our online gallery, seeing how this will be our first online show and the opening for our site.

Our opening will be simply a change for any artist interested in showing there work to another audience that window for more exposure, the connection to more people and those of other skills that might not so freely be encouraged here. In later gallery shows we plan to have compactions with some form of a winning prize (but at this point that is not our real goal... it's about the building a community for people that strive for expanding there skill and understanding of art.)

Our hope again is not to steel from this community but offer more to you and it as well.
