yeah Halloween it's great idea, but i think it be cool to orient the contest in specific idea,The servant of Horror character, i mean character like : Igor, dobby , and other , working for evil.

i like the trick or treaters idea, i think it would be cool to do multiple characters that compliment each other like lock shock and barrel from nightmare before christmas

or better yet maybe a nightmare before christmas comp as halloweens just around the corner

It would be cool to do something themed around the season and holiday like Halloween. The possibilities could be endless.

While I haven't read all the ideas I thought of one not sure if it has been brought up. How about pin up like the classic style. You could do futuristic or historical themes or a number of other things.

I'd really like to model a character on a dinosaur, doesn't matter which one but it must be dinosaur. And the person behind whell must be human-ish. It could also be some steam punk involved. Hope you like my idea :smug:

I like the chick with a big stick Idea, but I also like the idea of some Halloween theme, but I should like it to be pretty open and not themed toward one way or another. If we were to do the Halloween idea, it should be open to comical or horror Halloween.

But I can still see the "chick with a big stick" idea as appealing XD Something like a female, with a ginormous weapon, like cloud's blade (FF7) or A ridiculously immense plasma gun.

I'm game.

I always thought the mini moo fighters thing on GA was interesting...seems that anything toon-like would be good.
Also..

kids.. whose trick or treat costumes become a part of (or take over) them.

Halloween theme is appropriate.

*edit.. For a future comp, I'd also like to recommend the Chaotic TCG. It has a myriad of excellent subjects. The style is a bit more sophisticated than pokemon. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chaotic_Trading_Card_Game

Halloween seems to be the perfect theme for this one.
Maybe Old Universal Horror Movies monsters like frankenstein, or dracula.

holloween environment sounds great! would it be a facade for a single render? or full room/landscape? any ideas on specs?

gothic graveyards, skeletons chained to dungeon walls, or even cartoony pumkins comming to life, this would leave alot of room for diversity.
