Hey all!!

my name is Brad Marques and i am currently a Lead Artist at a video game company in Austin TX.

Just wanted to say that this site has a plethora of talent on it and i have found much motivation here.

Here are some of my 2d works. Currently on my freetime i am working on my on 3d animated movie called Demon Hunter Matsu. Just trying to use this project as a first pass on really defining my own 3d style.

later all...I will be posting more 3d stuff as i get it online. Currently on my site only the 2dart section works.

I like it. Veery good line feeling. The proportions are exaggerated ( the Conan-guy and girl next to him - the legs for ex.), but that's the style. I really like it. ;)

Ok, there's some nice stuff here, and I can see a real Kubert Brothers - Jim Lee influence here. I would say that your work is a colourists dream whilst at the same time being a colourists nightmare. The lineart is very clean but also has very little weight to it. I recommend you also look at your poses a little more carefully, some are a little wooden whereas some, especially the middle barbarian picture, are a little floaty and the characters don't seem t have a lot of weight. This is a stylistic error that a lot of comic book artists fall for. Really try to ground your characters to their environments. ok? Otherwise you are a very promising artist, but I recommend you try to search for your own style a bit more now... The character sheets and in particular, the old man are your strongest effort in this respect so far.

Iīm agree with MC :D The chacts havenīt weigth. I dislike the propotions on the 1st pic, not too realistic. In the 3th I think that girl would be 2,50 mt :D His legs are too long and i donīt know where is she sit. Feet too small too. In the 4th the legs are too long too. Heīs Ryu isnīt it? With those legs he could killīem all with a proppeller kick :D :D :D . Do u use a very thin line to ink or itīs only pencil sketches? Kīmon jump in the world of comic inking!

Thanks alot guys.

Alot of the critques that have been mentioned are not acutally problems anymore. Those drawings are about a year old, and so not really the most recent of my work. I have been really trying to concentrate on defining what my style is.

Cant wait to post up the new stuff and hear some great advice like i am getting now!!!! Thanks All.
