this short is a tribute no profit a GONAGAI Robots.

Modeling, texturing, rigging and animation in Cinema 4D.

note: We wanted to do more, but to show the exhibition in Lucca: "comics and games 2008" we had only two months for all the work :hmm:

Yes, only 2 months for three people for the 3D and two people for music and audio effect.

some info:
The enviroments made with foto of the city Lucca, retouched in PS and edited/composited in AE.
The final scene is a trakked video with PFHOE PRO and after imported data in Cinema 4D v11, rendered with GI with new fast engine of the software.
Some particle effect (fire and explosion)made with Particle Illusion.
Particle effect of the robot in the atmosphere made with Pyrocluster of Cinema 4D.

* is a cinema 4d r10 exporting videos or picturs ?

Yes the rig is possible for Cinema 4D v10
and Yes, you can export picture (jpeg, tif etc) and video (avi, mov)
