Definitely the most consistent entry, mesh clean, unwrap good, texture painting good, presentation is a little simplistic but again - clear and clean :D

I think you could have put more into surface texturing etc. but everything you did is to a high standard :)

Your entry kind of snuck up on me - I've not had time to check the WIP thread out much so I didn't really see it develop but I remember the concept. You've done a good solid job on your materials, your unwrap is clean and it's nicely lit & presented.

I haven't seen the movie but I get it. I have to be honest and say I don't think you pushed as hard as you could have done on the presentation or the textures but it's a nice clean mesh with an efficient unwrap and it definitely looks like the boy. That hand clawing it's way out of the room is a nice touch :D

Oh on the subject of voting for yourself, I've seen this before and it can get a bit ugly, I think that this is all a bit of fun and all we want to do is just make decent showreel pieces. I think as long as daddy oh feels his voting is honest thats fine by me :) Anyway, sorry, I got the dead line mixed up, I thought it was the 25th... Solid performance, can't really find anything to fault with it. The texture for the face is simply awesome. Well done.


2nd Place - Madrara

Pretty good. The face ended up a little nondescript for my liking personally but still all around well done. The skin turned out great, and the character has a very eerie feel about her. Nice work.


3rd Place - Martin_X

Nice style, I really like the way you pushed aspect of it, adds to the "crazy" feel of the character. The texture for the face is great. I would have liked to see a little more texture in the pants tho, more of a jeans texture, or maybe some polka dots or something similarly 'clowny'. Fun character and well executed. Good job.
