HI TO ALL, MY NAME IS ALEXANDROS AND I AM ABSOLUTELY AMAZED WITH ALL THE CREATIONS HERE !!!! 2D AND 3D :haha: ACTUALLY I AM A BEGGINER AT DRAWING AND I HAVE NOT MUCH EXPERIENCE !!:cry: TO BE HONEST I STARTED PENCIL SHADING BEFORE 6 MONTHS ! WHAT I WANT TO ACCOMPLISH IS TO BECOME A NICE DIGITAL ARTIST :haha: HOWEVER I KNOW THAT THIS IS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT AND ONLY WITH A LOT OF WORK I WILL ACCOMPLISH MY DREAM!!!;P HERE IS MY FAVOURITE PENCIL DRAWING ! WHAT I WANT TO ASK ,IS WHAT WILL I NEED TO PAINT IT DIGITALLY ? (:haha: I MEAN DIGITAL PAINTING ) I HAVE THE PHOTOSHOP CS2 AND A SMALL SCREEN TABLET PEN WACOM STH !BUT I AHVE NO EXP!! I WILL BE GREATFULL FOR ANY ADVICE YOU GIVE ME THANK YOU ALL !

The drawing is nice, but why all upper case?

well, if you have photoshop and a wacom you're off to a good start :) getting comfortable with using the tablet, and the tools and techniques in photoshop shouldn't take too long but it's good to concentrate on that a little IMO.

probably a good idea to learn as much as you can about colour theory, composition, and then on to custom PS brushes as well. but i'd say you also want to make sure you learn about perspective, proportions, shape and form, lighting and how surface materials react to different types of light, shadows etc etc....all the things you'll need for creating characters and environment that look believable.

if it's not too late, you could always ask santa for a few of these.....
