agent-x: like with your character it's hard to vote for you when you don't fully follow the rules. Your winning image is your high poly, it should be your low poly. It's cool to show the high poly, but that should be apart of your contruction sheet(wires). Glad to see you redid your texture layout though.

1 - GuyBlue: Nice looking pedistal. I have little nik-piks though. It would be nice to see a little more wear on the concrete with the broken sections a little more prominent. The scale between the plants and the concrete structure seems off to me.
2 - Big Toe: Nice entry bigToe. The modeling looks good but the textures are a little too clean. It needs a lot of weathering to keep the theme of the destroyed chapel going. The grain on the benches might be a little bit too big and contrasting.
3 - silverflam: Nice concept. The textures could use a bit more working though. You could shave off a ton of polies such as around the tentacles and base trim.

@Agent-X - though it is a cool stand it was just too simple for me. With the pollies and your skills there are so many more things you should have added, this entry just felt like you rushed through it and didn't even think about it much. I mean it's a rock... no dust, sand, pebbles, rubble, Barnie, Fred, or anything. Just a single lifeless, soulless barren rock, and while that may have been metaphoric, visually it came off as empty. I'm not trying to be harsh, I like the rock, but you could have done a lot more for it.
@Silverflame - Nice Idea, the normal map seems wasted because you lighting is just too low. More dim light with the main light having the highest intensity would have really helped you.

1st Place - Guy BlueSummers

Really solid. I think you could have been a little more robust with the alpha cards [some intersecting ones for more branches, etc], given the close quarters of a "pedestal" but all in all they turned out well. You've got a lot of nice grit in your textures now, but I think there's still room for some more weathering, a collection of dirt in the nooks etc. Nice work, I hope you get a chance to jump in on a few more challenges with us.

2nd Place - BiG ToE

Really tough call betwixt yours and Guy Blue's. Your's has a lot of nice color and energy going for it, but I think its lacking a bit as far as grit and weathering goes, despite the nice cracks in the ground, and I think the wood texture looks a little too big on the pews. All around tho, this is pretty nice, and those windows look pretty cool. Leaves me with one question tho...wasn't the point of making the pedestal to put your character on it??? ;P

3rd Place - Novian

I like the design, that's a pretty cool idea for a pedestal, and certainly fitting of your character. The stones look a bit glossy/reflective, I'd expect them to be little less, but other than that, I can't fine any faults with it. Candles were a pretty way to go with the lighting.

1 - BigToe Nice as usual, though I though some of the textures were a little on the clean side(bench/white pillar) otherwise, nice idea and execution.

2 - GuyBlue I liked you overall setup, though the only thing that irked me about you peice was the shadows of "flat" shrubs on the ground, I think if you baked or painted a more round shadow on the ground it might have come out nicer. Either way sweet job.

3 - Novian I like your concept as well, your texturing skills need a bit more practice, as Warlock said the stones were a bit on the shiny side but thats all I'd really nit pick at this peice. Good job dude!
