Hey there, im doing a project at college that requires x-ray looking images. I need it to be as realistic as possible. I will create the models such as a hoover, toaster etc. But then im stuck on how to create a realistic look. Preferably blue image on a black background.
Im using 3ds max. I have access to paintshop pro 7 and photoshop.
All help will be greatly appriciated.
Ta very much
try using the fallof map in both opacity and self illumination slots
it looks quite good to me. oh yes turn the material 2 sided
hope it helped!

I would put a slight blur on it in Photoshop tust to make it look more like an X-Ray. Not a big blur, maybe just one or two pixels or something.
This was a Radial Blur, Settings: Zoom, Best, 3.
