Why while importing 3ds files into max (3ds file generated by rhino3d) the mesh model appears with all the triangle face edges ? Is it possible to simplify the wireframe due to a "more simple" manipulation of the scene?
Any suggestion appreciated.
Hmm... I used to have this with LW objects. I think this is correct - Max Editable Meshs are read as faces rather than polys which is probably what rhino is converting them to. One option might be to export as something else - try OBJ if rhino will let you. You'll need to get the MAX plugin from scriptspot as well. Another if you've got nothing else to do for the next week would be to make those face lines that are breaking up your 4 point polys invisible! This option is not only daft but can also give you quite a migrane! :)
