Hey, still some hours left.
I hope, it will do to finish my character.
My background is finally ready, took a lot of hours in matte painting.
Call it "Zeist - The Ice Planet".
And my char will be called Fangg.

The story:
After the Eclipse the face of Zeist changed to an almost lifeless planet. Ice grows where once settlements of the civilization and fertile grounds have been.
One of these few remnants of this civilization is called Fangg. As others he strives through vast plains and searches for food and things, which might assure his survival.
Once the people of Zeist have been a strong social organized society. But due to lack of food they became individual wanderers, seldom meeting each other on their wanderings.

I used several photo-references to make this scene and repainted every detail as good as I could. The brush-tool of Photoshop is my friend :D

Not the last version.
Based on several photos and by using many brushes I imagined what he should look like.

To survive this cold world, Fangg got a fur, I made him look similar to a bison or ox, something like that. His robe looks like those of munks. I think, it represents the poverty and simplicity of a life on Zeist. He even got not much stuff with him, cause there is hardly enough to survive. Even his weapon shall look like made of "nature". So I decided to create an ice spear as to see in the final picture.

looks great man!
I would say that you should add some "depth of field" like blur to the ice adjacent to his coat. Right now it's a bit to hard transition. :P
Great job!
