i would say leave off the wing but make his upper body and little more sturdy or stout. :D

fixed a bit the body and testing some colors.
still dont like the head.. maybe i have to replace the horns with something else..
ideas are more than welcome, so feel free :)

why don't you try either more curly horns or the long ones that sprout more from the center of the head rather then the side.
I agree with M_Cederstrom about the wings and upper body.

Working on the gun atm. The idea was a undead minion launcher :smug:

Time to start modeling n' maybe find some more details on my way.
I always find changes during the modeling n' specially when sculpting. But the basic concept i will keep it as it is :)

a small update. Still have a lot work to do on low poly before sculpt it.

since i almost finished the low poly basic mesh and i have about 5k tris more to spend i'm start thinking for some new solutions. Looks like the the concept was poor for 10 k triangles :hmm:
so.. heres some new ideas that may help the situation.
a) long bone spikes onto hes head that looks like fire
b) an extra more powerful arm, maybe a weapon.
Suggestions more than welcome so please .. feel free :)

This looks like an awesome idea to me.
But I cannot really imagine your demon to have that extra arm... I don't know why exactly. Perhaps because it isn't symmetrical that way?
But perhaps that would be an extra point? I don't know.

great progress so far anima. looking sweet.
could u not have lost the bones in the wings and gotten away with just a normal map ? and focused those poly's in the face rather ?

well .. replaced the upper body and arms with a better one.
Working on the lower area atm and have to correct the balance between body and legs also. btw still have about 2k tris to spend and thats good :)

Heres another shot attached all parts to new chest and fixed the geometry on legs so i can soon jump to zbrush. The rest 1k tris that left thinking to fix the face and the gun.

There's alot of optimizing that could be done on the body. If you're planning on retopologizing after zbrush it doesn't matter I guess; if not then definately spend the time cleaning it up. If it doesn't affect the silhoutte then it doesn't need to be there.

Yep, jumping on their train here, you could certainly clean some of that up, and a few more loops in his demon minion cannon would go a long towards smoothing that out.
Otherwise, looking pretty cool. I think it might not be a bad idea to beef the tail up a bit, right now its about the same thickness as all the things coming out of his head, and kinda gets lost in them, whereas if it were a little thicker, it'd be easier to distinguish as a different element.

Ofc there would be some geometry changes on the way, just had this geometry to support the sculpted model. After that i will clean a bit whatever it looks useless on him specially on legs and maybe on body also. The gun must be done from the beginning tbh but 1st i have to see how much tris left for that and maybe some armor parts that im thinking to add ;)
