How much Jim Henson are we talking here? Is it strictly Muppets? Or is it anything Jim Henson? Like, Dark Crystal or Labyrinth? I would honestly prefer if we stayed away from that stuff and limited it to Muppets (sesame street, fraggles, and other kids stuff)While making some cool Brian Froud monsters and goblins would rock, it starts to dilute the original idea. I want to see Snuffalumpagus thrashing some small children. A Skeksis thrashing small children has already happened on film, so its not as cool.

So, that's my 2 cents. No crazy fantasy Jim Henson, just Muppets, Sesame Street, and Fraggle Rock.

well you normally do somwhere betwix 6 and 8, but I know everyone is toasted, so I thought maybe we coudl calm down abit. maybe go half way, hit it with a 4,000.

4-5k and either one or two 1024'x would sound good to me.

That way anyone who's got the energy could tackle the second War mini challenge and still catch up to the rest on this easily enough.

considering the poly limit, i'd say muppets. if we're gonna do old-game-made-new, i'd wanna have a higher polycount and texture res.

4-5k seems fine, it'll make the fuzzy bits tricky enough to be fun.

I've no objection to splitting maps - a pair of 1024s should be plenty for this and it'll mean the people with older/32bit machines don't get screwed

it was slick as sesame street fighter, but since its all muppets, why not expand the fighting game side too? if its still in play.

4K is fine by me, used to it. 2 1024's is cool too, lets me practice multi-sub.

If Jim Henson wins, it would be focused more on the muppet side of things, education and childern. I don't know if Dark Crystal fits in that.

Hey - Jim Henson or Old School Game Made New is perfect for a post War low poly comp. How many polys DOES one need to model Kermit or Mega Man, anyways:) Not a lot, I'd reckon. A skeksis or something from Dark Crystal though? That's pretty ambitious - but hey, if you're not fried from D-War IV, than...well, you're crazy=)

Yeah that one on the far right is a taco. The series of toys consists of two factions (good/bad) that battles it out in a kitchen. The helmets are military helmets instead (the guys in the pictures are actually the bad guys, the Refrigerator Rejects(?))
