im new to 3d modeling and characters in particular, so i started doing the joan of arc tutorial, body looks kind of ok, then i started the head, but not without following the same tutorial.
anyhow, it doesn't look quite allright, and i'd like your help, with how to improve my head.
btw, im using max 6.

welcome to the forums and the wonderfull world that is 3d character modelling ^^

not a bad start, to be sure. the biggest problem you have is with basic anatomy and proportions. a good rule of thumb, the corners of the mouth almost always end up more or less under the centre of the eye.

i'd recommned you follow the whole joan tutorial. its a pretty good base and covers a lot of the basic skills and techniques you'll want to have.

also, look for some pictures of human skulls/heads/face. they will help you get a better picture of how a head "works".
