Each Low-Poly challange teaches me a whole new subject, and is a great learning expirience, this time I learned about normal maps, sculpting and a little bit about Ambient Occlusion. Unfortunately next month I'm going to the army and probibly won't take part in any competitions for the next 3 years(unless I get extremely lucky). I want to wish good luck to everyone in everything, this great community has helped me grow alot and tought me many things. I'll still be around till the end of the month. So...yeah hmmm my final entry:

nice edge flow on your mesh, and great work on the normal maps, especially on the fabric of the coat. clean textures and effective spec.

great presentation of the character, and wonderful beauty shot. mesh work could have used a little more love and a little more interest in the silohette, but the textures are clean and effective and sell the character well :)

really nice presentation of your work, and kermit's character really jumps out at ya, only thing letting you down a little here is the normal maps, the 'fabric' of the skin works well, but falls flat in other areas. great work though, always good to see the great green one done well :D

I definitely agree. Maybe I should have been more specific in my reasons, since I just put up the names :D I seriously had a very hard time picking my choices.

Cox's image really was just great all around - the model is very efficient, the textures are efficient and looks great, and the pose looks believable and is full of feeling. Overall, I felt his project was the most polished overall by a hair.

Lanimal's project was fascinating. I thought it was really full of amazing feeling, and the textures worked out exceptionally well. I can tell he put in a lot of time and effort into this image, and I believe it paid off extremely well in the end.

I also definitely agree about Funkdelic - kermit's pose/clothing/etc really looked fantastic. I just felt something was kind of missing from the environment. I ended up choosing Miss Piggy from Gmango simply for the bit of extra environment, and also that I found the imitation of Marilyn Monroe to be so amazingly appropriate for her character!
