I'm doing Nathan Spencer from the new Bionic Commando. Here are references, currently working on the female sketch.

will she be wearing a see threw outfit?

Here's my initial concept sketch. Here are a few of the male to female changes:
Tank top is now spaghetti strap ripped belly shirt; one strap is broke to allow for bionic arm clearance.
Pants are now short shorts, got rid of suspenders. Made belt buckle round instead of square to make it more feminine.
Ditched the knee pads and went with tie-up straps around the knees.
Big bionic boots are now bionic ass-kicking high heel stripper boots. Still have bionic power to kick stuff and fall from high heights.
Gave her a gun, depends on how many tris I'll have left.
His hand has a bandage, or wrap around it; just gave her a little loose wrist wrap.
Dreds turned into long straight brown hair.
I made the bionic arm have more feminine soft curves and shapes with glowing pink tubes and accents. "Claw" part went down to a more lady-like 3, with sharp points (like sharp girl fingernails). Made the overall proportions thinner and not as bulky to make it more feminine.

Started on the low-poly base mesh. I'm going to retopologize once I take it back from zbrush.

I think she would look better with skin tight camo all the way down to the boots. And she needs knee pads I think. Also...i could be wrong, but I think they worked in the bionic arm better. I mean, yours looks like a mad scientist did it. In the game and world he's from I think they have a better understanding of robotic prosthetic arms and the like. I don't like her boots either...the spikes seam a little weird to me. I like the feminine touches to the arm though, the claws and pink are a nice touch, as well as rounding out the features. Her shoulder needs to move over more. Right now it's more her neck and collar bone than her deltoid.

Nice work so far - you're moving fast. I gotta say watch that arm though; in your painting, it's all up in her torso, it's even taking up the place of her left breast. And goast666 might be onto something, she might look pretty good with Guile-style fatigues all the way down to her boots.
Great progress so far man!

Thanks for the help guys. Took goast666's advice and moved the arm away from the body more, put knee pads in and brought the camo pants all the way down to the knee pads. Also ditched the spikes on the boots.

10 million times better. I like my girls when they eat. But eh, some peeps like 'em super skinny :). I think having her shirt fully on...not ripped, would help a ton.

I am definitely liking the second concept a lot more.
I think that goast666 is right about the torn shirt. I don't mind the midriff, but the second shoulder strap should still be once piece. The integration of the arm and body could be a bit better but overall it is a great start.

Thanks for the help. Yeah, I was a little iffy on the ripped shirt too. I'll give it a clean hem, but I'll keep the midriff. I can put her left strap back on and just rip the shirt out around her left breast to allow for tubes/metal etc.; like the reference pic.
I guess I can make the bionic metal part take over the left side of her chest and upper side.
I'll update the concept.

Changed up the concept a little. I think the arm to body integration seems a little better.

Getting much better sir. I still think the shirt shouldn't be torn. I know the original is...eh...I can't decide. Even with the tubes and whatnot I think they would have made a shirt for her...you know, holes for tubes and the like. You should do up the idea with both the tears and no tears. just a quick layer of color from the top and see how the colors contrast. Don't worry about shading and highlights until you've nailed your flats. It should save you a ton of time.

Thanks for all the help. I switched the shirt up to be not so shredded. Based off one of the reference images I found, which I think may be fan art.

great start :) was actually a character I had contemplated doing too :D the newer concepts get better each time, I like the design changes. one suggestion would be to bulk out the arm a little more especially on the 'hand / grapple'

I didn't think suspenders were that lady-like. I kept the arm less bulky than the original male to make it more streamlined & feminine. I might change a little once I start modeling it.

Started to play around with stuff in Zbrush. Don't know that this will be my final, just wanted to start sculpting the rough to get a feel for it.
