Even though some people mentioned they were gonna choose him I couldn't help but do this as well, he's one of my favorite characters. I plan on doing something more action oriented instead of a statue-ish pose, like she'd be preparing for the iminent strike of a headcrab or something. This is what I have in mind:

Hah, thanks guys for the criticism and suggestions. :} I haven't had time to start modelling yet, but I'll do so this week for sure. I've been having second thoughts about doing a female Duke Nukem instead and it's been making me rethink things before I start any actual modelling but I might just stick to this concept and go for it. It's just that Duke is up there with Gordon as my favorite videogame character, I'd at least like to see someone take a shot at him cause I'd love to see what a female version of him would look like.

that is freaking sweet, I love the concept! When I first read about your idea I wasn't sure how it'll turn out, but is very nice so far!

Hello Frango....

AWESOME concept of gordon Freeman, i was thinking of a female "Duke nukem" too, but i chose other instead....

Heh, thanks guys. :D I've barely started, I'm still tweaking a base mesh to build the armor on. I've gotta stop slacking. :(

Nice idea. Push the sexy nerd aspect and you're home free. It seems like a slight redesign would be nice. otherwise it's may just look like gordon's HEV suit with a new head.

What other ways might a female gordon be different? I'm not calling the idea bad at all, but in the end votes are gonna depend on hoe female you can make that same suit look, so it'd be worth some extra thought at this phase.

I have thought about this, I'll tell ya. I don't know if I'll sit and rethink the costume before the modelling or if I'll make modifications as I model, but I agree that a few changes are essential. I do accept suggestions too, just sayin'. :D

That looks pretty spot on. I'm not too big of a fan of Mr.Freeman myself - I'm not a big PC gamer, and I find it hard to really see him as an iconic character when you, y'know, never see him and he never says anything - but I gotta admit, if he were a she, she'd have to look ALOT like that. Now get moving on this model, Frango:)
