I will be doing a male version of the latest game coming out, Bayonetta. I will retain his masculanity with the essence of bayonetta's charm and looks. Lets see what i can do.

Just remember the Gun Shoes! He has to be able to blow off people's faces after kicking them in the head!
Great choice by the way! Good luck.

I drew over the base model to show what i have in mind. i have a sketch drawn on paper too but i dont have a scanner to show. crits welcome.
the back part of his pants near the leg will be cut open to attach the guns to his feet.
i dont know where to put that huge disc thingy on her chest. i think its a valuable part of the character in the game. also should make the hair thingy on her arm into a back scarf for him or fine the way he is.

Interesting design choices. He needs some kinds cape or coat. Something to mirror the feathery bits on the source. Whatever you try, you should keep the design flamboyant. Think Jin from tekken ( I think that was his name).

Well, since they put it in a very suggestive area of the female anatomy, you should have him wear it on a belt, hanging over his dong:)
Overall, I like where this is going. Though her design is really fancy and decorative - you're gonna have to come up with more equivalent things to do to him to make him even. I don't even know what you could do to replace the "hair wings" for example (or is that a really long ponytail that forks in two?). Also, with any of these stylized japanese-designed characters, I always think you could just load up on the extraneous zippers and buttons and chains. Bayonetta may not be a Tetsuya Nomura character, but she's got a lot of that extraneous stuff on her outfit too.

VinsanityV20 : yeah its a long ponytail to match with bayonetta's stylish hair.
H2olt : true, Jin has served a good reference point for me. i am going to give him a lil cloak in the back to match her wings.
southparx : Thank you kindly. yes it struck as a very unique character to me so i decided to go with it.
Here are my ultra slow progress. it should not take long for the high poly. texturing is whats goings to get to me.

Lookin' good so far RyVick! Hope ya finish though - it's almost september, and anytime a talent here on Threedy has some slow progress it's always painful. I'm greedy; I wanna see as many finished models as possible!
Oh also, wouldn't the male form of Bayonetta simply be, uh, Bayonet? Every time i click on this thread, I think, "Oh cool - someone's doing Barrett from FFVII - How could I not have noticed this before?". Granted, I tend to misread it at a glance every damn time:) But still, Bayonetta seems like the "female" form of Bayonet (just like Barret is the "male" form of Barretta - if indeed, weapons can have male and female forms for their names), so why not call this guy Bayonet?

I like the seam detail of the shoulder. I couldn't really tell what was going on there in your concept. the back of his neck seems like it could use more structure. I can't tell what's going on there at all, looks like his neck smooths into his suit. looking good though. It seems you've fixed some of the structural problems. good luck.
