don't worry your sketching isn't as bad as mine. I do think she needs to be more bad ass. The long hair the way it is looks more like a old fashion house wive than some one who is going to put a cap in some ones ass. I look forward to seeing what you can do with it. Good luck :)

Looking good, but I think her boots are a little too big. Maybe it's just the angle, but they look like giant clown feet.

Agree, the back view looks good but the front and 3/4 show a slope from the top bit to the toecap which look filled out.

great so far :}

good work on the sculpt so far, the anatomy and the cloth of the trousers looks solid. the boots are too big at the moment, this is actually a styalisation I am quite fond off, but would often require emphasis on other areas of the character too, most often the hands and the head. in your concept you have a less styalised look, so maybe making the boots smaller would be the way to go :D

good luck and look forward to updates

SR_6274 and timberwo7ves yes you people are absolutely right, boots are big, now I have done the corrections.

L3XICON- Thanks man, my sketching is not good, so I am not going according to my concept totally.

The normal map came out really nicely, shows of the details very well.

But the normals on the belt and straps seems a little off, maybe it's because the low poly mesh has smoothing groups and the tool used to bake the normal map used a version of the low poly mesh with a single smothing group. Seems to me to be the case since the objects with hard edges look concave.
Maybe try seeing how the low poly mesh looks wih no smoothing groups with the current normal map. Just a suggestion.

Anywho, looking forward to see how the texture maps look on this.

platypus_green-Thanks for your feedback, yes you are right, its because of smoothing group.

here are my texturing WIP

Really liking the texturing so far. Only thing I don't really like are the grenades hanging from the shoulder strap. They look like two giant prunes just hanging there. Instead of black, maybe a mid to dark gray would show them off a little better.
