I'm gonna go ahead and make this a place holder. I think it might be interesting. I didn't see anyone else post a thread with Tomb Raider so I'll go ahead and try it. Updates Soon. Not that great with characters but I'm gonna give it a go.

Well for a more manly hair style I was thinking of a very long Goatee with some kind of braid or wooden balls on it. I'm trying to grow one out super long too so it kind of goes hand in hand lol. Idk im liking the super long rat tail though hahaah.

Since most people already consider lara croft a female version of indianna jones you've got your work cut out for you. get a concept drawn up. I'd suggest sticking very close to the gear load out of lara. That's gonna be a lot more important than hair specifics at this point.

I definately will. It will almost be the same but im not sure exactly how to change it yet but I'm gonna figure that out. I'll post some compiliation pics and what not.

I'm going to base most of this off of what Jonathan Rush did for Tomb Raider: Underworld. I'm going to go with the same looks almost exactly but I'm thinking about doing a wife-beater shirt and go with the pants. I got the picture of Lara Croft with the shorts from Jonathan's personal site.

The recent improvements to lara's costume have added a lot. It'd be a waste to step back to lower tech gear like a wifebeater. Do a search for performance wear and you'll find some usefull images to replace her gear with something equivalent but more manly. Like this (http://ep.yimg.com/ca/I/titleboxing_2060_10241166)

And there's a lot more like it out there.

Yea your right I might go something with like Underarmor. I havn't quite yet thought about it all yet. I'm going to be TRYING to concept something. I'm not very good at 2d lol.

Wow man, thanks for clueing me into this Jonathan Rush guy. Is he a modeler for Buzz Monkey or Crystal Dynamics though, 'cuz that first pic looks like the Wii/PS2 model for Underworld (which doesn't really matter, 'cuz Buzz Monkey did an excellent job on those SKU's anyway).

Anyway, good choice. She's just such an iconic female character that it would be a pretty big challenge to make a guy who reads as instantly Tomb Raider without just ending up...I dunno, Uncharted looking, or Indiana Jones-y. This should be a fun thread to watch:)

Your right southparx. When I look at Chris Redfield I see a lot of what I'm going for other than the hair and the other characteristics. I've been extremely bush with working on my 1970 Nova I'm restoring with my Dad so I havn't had time to concept. They will be coming soon.
