Cool - I was thinking about bending Astro Boy. I scrapped it pretty fast since he'd probably just end up looking like his sister, but in "combat gear" - which, in Astro Boy's world, is just underwear, apparently:)

Good luck

unless your going to give the model pigtails on the head......you still need to get her some female anatomy ;)

The forearms seem a little too bulky. I know you're going for the style, but you're overshooting it.

Also, the poly flow is going to need some major adjustments. I don't know if you're just building a base mesh and then you're going to z brush and retopo (I wouldn't recommend it for such a simplistic and stylized character)

But if you're not gonna retopo, you need to start adjust the poly flow, particularly around the shoulders, chest, and where the legs meet the torso

SnappedStrings is right - the poly flow is clean, but it's lacking in a lot of areas. Specifically, anywhere that will deform - like the shoulders. You're gonna need to cut in edgeloops and form joints in those areas, man.

Strict9's right too - your Astro Girl doesn't really look like a girl so far:) I'm not saying that she's gotta look all sexed up, but look at Astro Girl:

While similar (they are twins, after all), she's definitely not the same exact body type as good ole' Astro Boy. Do a google search for Astro Girl (I think her name is Zoran or Uran; it's been awhile since I've seen the 2005 series, and besides they change her name every time) and gather some reference I say, or do a concept so you have a clear idea of what to shoot for...

- smaller forearms
-shorter torso
-added boots,feet and head

It's coming along buddy, but I think she would look better wit a skirt or a dress maybe and I feel like she needs something dat defines her because she's looking exactly like astroboy but with a thinner waist. I know u wanna keep da essence of the character but It just doesn't say female to me. Maybe you can make her eyes a little more defined or try a different hairstyle.

well your only at 3,000 tris, I would go ahead and use the remaining tris to give her breasts, and add geo to areas like the hips. You may want to round out the eyes to. They are a bit on the blocky side right now.

You still need to go back in and adjust the geometry around the thighs and shoulders. As Toe already said, you're not hurting on poly count, so feel free to really get in there and get the geometry jazzed up. Otherwise, when it comes time to rig and pose this character, you're going to be in for a rude awakening. there'll be major deformation problems
