I did´nt liked the halo-games at all, but this trailer is technically well done! The war field looks almost real and the sfx are great too. But still, the trailer reminds me of a bad b-movie ;)

Waw. I'm not a fan of the halo games either, but this looks real nice. They should make a movie out of it.

Loved it! B-movie or not, I'd go see this at the cinema if it were a movie. They're doing a great job on the marketing for this.

lol !!! its not bad at all, but something anoyes me:
the film was shot in hungary, or with hungarian actors (i know becouse im hungarian, and clearly understand every word) but TARKOV is not a hungarian name, it seems rushian or sg like that
its just the same fault, like underworld2 (the movie) when the police was running in the forest. as the story said, they were in czeh republic or poland (i cant remember) but the men were shouting hungarian words :)

Are you talking about the Halo movie that was supposed to be produced by Peter Jackson and directed by Neill Blomkamp? That movie was canceled years ago, and instead, Neill got to create District 9.

Well you might have seen one of the following:

- Halo Wars trailers;
- Halo 3 promotional trailers;
- Halo short films directed by Neill Blomkamp, that were meant to be warm-up for the full feature film ( it's a battle between several marines and convenant in some trenches; a warthog is featured and several brutes and the needle guns );
- Halo ODST and Halo Reach trailers;

If you could show me what you saw, it would be great. :)
Fact is, the Halo movie has been in development hell, as they call it, and Neill Blomkamp is off the project, along with Peter Jackson. Damn shame, I would have loved to see something produced by those two in the Halo universe.

the halo project is not dead....it'll be directed by steven speilberg under dreamworks production....there are reports that it'll be distributed by Walt Disney...

Indeed I found this on Spielberg's wiki page: "In August 2009, rumors also appeared suggesting that Spielberg is in active negotiations with Microsoft in a possible deal to take up the Halo Movie based on Stuart Beattie's original script, after 20th Century Fox's dropout from Peter Jackson's project in 2006."

I'm not going to pour my heart into a rumor, but I could see Spielberg doing this justice. Here's hoping :smug:

With Spielberg possibly in the producer's chair (if God willing these negotiations work out), who would be his first choice to direct HALO?

Now I don't know about that, Spartan. Sure, it's a great game ( loved the first one ) and the universe it takes place in is awesome, but there are several games that surpass it on both accounts - in my opinion of course.

What are the conditions to find a skull in Halo 3? I have been trying to get different skulls in Halo 3 and i find some but not all of them. Do you have to complete the level on normal first or something like that?
