:dance:that makes us three. all we need now is vodka, bread, salt, onion, fat, more vodka, some music, chiks (not necesary fit ones. theres no such thing as ugly woman - only to little shnaps), beer (an old russian proverb: vodka vithout beer is a total waste of money and time) and this sathe person from the forums to make us laugh .

Yep. The forum was down for quite some time today.

What was weird though was that www.3dtotal.com worked fine.

Don't they host the site and the forum at the same server or what?

might be on the same server, they could have taken down the database or shut down the site or any number of things in order to perfrom some maintenance or some such.

still, i started to shake after a few hours of not spamming here :S

Yeh I don't mean to cause offense but ive never seen a site with as many constant crashes/down time.
Not that i'm complaining, it's a free site, but this has to be like 3-4 days downtime in the last 4-5 weeks alone.

it could be that the content and the people in the community are so AWESOME so the server can't take it any more :p

I was seriously considering a lawsuit as the 3d and company does not have a disclaimer regarding 'withdrawal', but then I realized that i was supposed to be modeling something and i came to my senses...Welcome Back...We missed you!

what's up with the forum now?
It takes AAGES to load, and when it finally does, it places banners after every single post.

Also, on top of the page it says
Could not connect to mysqlCould not select databaseDB Error, could not query the database MySQL Error:

Is this my computer, or is it the forum?

The forums are **cked.

Threedy needs a reboot more than the Matrix did after Agent Smith Converted everyone.

There seems to be an advert after every post which certainly won't help things in terms of board performance... Might re-enable ad blocker for the site temporarily to see if that helps

well it does take ages to load, ad blocker does it's work properly, but the time of loading is close to speed modeling limit :(

and we're back again - each time the recovery time shortens which is great :) someone is keeping a close eye on things
