Well here is my final silhouette idea i really love the size of this guy i think it fits in well with his name. I want him to be a big stocky type character im thinking of making him a medieval style but that is still not set in stone. The axe is not going to be his only weapon i also want to give him some close quater weapons like twin mace's or a twin bladed sword that can split into two seperate swords like clouds sword from final fantasy. Armor im still not sure if i want him to be fully armored or just part or him being a dragon slayer i think its all about mobility.
Well i hope you like it so far not much but im still working on his back story to give me ideas.

If that weapon an ax Wow, I hate to be cut by that thing. :D
without reading anything - i was looking @ the sillouette and thought- dang that's a big teddy bear :D. i read the words above " meaning bear"..... this can only become good.
I think Golden Melons as weapons would also be fitting for that type of slayer.

Right i think this is going to be my guy im not really a 2d artist but this is my best shot :P im going to make him a barbarian style slayer he is not going to have much armor but he is going to be well build for speed and strenght. still not sure what ill do with the ear/horn shape on his head might through in a helm that covers the sides of his head. Bah i dont know :P

Finally got time to do some work on this character. Here is were im at so far im happy the way he looks but im not sure about the hand do you gus think that i should make every finger or do you think a FPS hand would look ok??
Thanks in advance.

I say go with every finger - you don't need much detail in the mesh with normal maps and it'll let you pose him grasping stuff in a much more natural way.
I am a bit of a fascist in this respect though so it could be more than you really need
I'd like to see him a bit more stumpy and barrel like than the mesh currently is - your sillhouette was full of character and to me its getting lost as you go along.
I vote you lose some of the definition in the legs, arms and trunk of his body so they're more tubelike, shorten his legs off a touch, possibly lengthen his arms and generally beef him up all over.
Its probably just me again but I think going too photoreal with proportions robs our little creations of character - we've got artistic license and we should damn well use it :D
