Its kind of the weapon a dwarf commander would carry...killing many orcs in one bow..And I too suck at story telling ^^
So here is my reference image

My modelling time is now over. Couldnt add as much detail as i wanted..but i hope it suffices. I will make an ambient test render now. So enjoy

After some Rendertime....Now i have to start texturing...which will take a while.
looks really good mate.
is it for slaying or does the top rotate, that would be totally wicked if it did. ?

Yeah the top rotates. -> So there will be a mess ;)
Starting on the textures today. Lots of fun ahead

On a sidenote, most orcs have black blood. At least in the Tolkieniverse.

I like it, looks good; when doing metal i suggest paying extra attention to highlights, a lot depends on it.

Now i have a question, Should we make for every entry a new Thread, or continue in this one?

Sikes opened 3 different threads, so I guess we have to do the same?
Nice model and texturing! Don't ya went crazy doing that waves that fill the blade? :D

nice entry i like the way you did those details,
though i still have troubles myself with making those meshes that intersect themselves,
i know its vital for nice low poly models, but still it doesnt look right to me ;)
