View Full Version : need help UVW mapping an object

ok, i'm making a scene, the problem is the mapping part :p
i can't figure how to put the UVW map on this object... just the sides that are visible do i have to texture so i won't bother mapping the other sides... how do i map this object so i don't get visible "borders" between the different sides? how and where should i put up the UVW mapping gizmos? one for each side, then i will get those borders i guess... please help ;)

It's not even the same in max4 and max5. So we need the version number too

anyway, i figuered out how to do it pretty good, but i wasn't able to select vertices, just polygons, anyone knows how to do this, would be easier next time ;)?
