Hi all, here is my initial sketch.
Hope I can finish this on time, no experience in texturing etc. so this will be a challenge!

Nice sketch. Whatever problems you may have with texturing, the people around here are more than happy to help :)
At first I thought someone is making Musashi as a legendary weapon. :D

Hi Musashi, Nice sketch. May I ask why it is a power axe? Also don't worry abt the texturing, like SR_6274 said, you can get plenty of help by just asking on the forums.

Hi All,
Finally found some time to start modeling my axe.
Still some work to do but i hope to finish it on time.
Feeling a bit humble when i look at the other artwork but it's also very inspiring.
Next time I will defenitely start modeling earlier!

Thank you Hammering3D!
I've used hypershot, its a rendering tool I recently discovered.
Very easy to use for a rendering newbie like me :-)
p.s. I'm curious about your Mystic Bow, nice concept!

I here about that rendering tool to, but did't have time to try it yet, maybe in this comp :D
And the bow ... I didn't have time for it yet, hope I will model it till the end of comp and hope I will have time for other model to, is nice that being an speed modeling we just need 2 hours for modeling and we can do it even in the last day of comp. Otherwise if it's an long time competition like dominance war people with more free time have advantage.

Hi musashi, good stuff so far, Just recheck your polygon normal options in your obj export window before taking it to hypershot. You appear to be getting some breakup along your surfaces in the second last render you posted.
