Alright so I'm a pretty late entry, but here's what I've got so far. I wanted to do something a little more fun and funny, so here's the story:

None of the other Bumwiffs liked Mikko Kapooy because his "loose-cannon"-like ways were too rough for their tranquil lifestyle (though some of the female Bumwiffs were slightly attracted to his dangerous demeanor). But when The Snatcher attacks the village, only one Bumwiff has the fluff to stand up to him: Mikko Kapooy!

Here's one of my concept sketches and the layout sketch for the final composition. Note: the little fluffy guys are the Bumwiffs, the big monster is The Snatcher, and the Bumwiff with the eyepatch and headband is Mikko Kapooy, but you might have already guessed as much.

haha this is going to become awesome, I'm pretty sure of it! Loved the character designs...I always like characters coming from so simple shapes, and with such terrific expressions!
