MileDream - Dragon Lair

Came up with this concept about an hour.

I want this matte painting to tell a story about an space traveler crash landed on an alien planet. When the pilot came out of his spacepod, he discovers this mystic planet is inhabited by dragons!

Not sure if I will include 3d elements, may be I will model the spacepod and the dragon. See if the time allows.

lol it's quite funny...so a pod lands on this weird planet, breaks dragon's favorite rock and the dragon asks himself 'hey what the heck just happened? Wtf?" :D

But you should make the rock look like it was pierced 2 minutes ago, not 200 years ago :) More fresh debris and dust ;)

got a couple of days off so I think I can finally concentrate a bit more on it.
Here is what I will do in the next couple of days:
- More realistic water/river (anyone care to help me on that? :) )

- I want to show that there are yellow/orange crystal deposit showing through the cracks of the mountain, explains one of the reason why the vegetation on the planet is orange. The glowing illumination of the crystal hopefully will add a little more mystic feel to the scene.

- I want to add some baby dragon eggs when the pilot crash landed, will add a little more drama for the pilot :D

Lets see what else I can do after I done this. ;)
