Hi everyone....
2012, end of the world, great, we'll see great various destructed aeras I hope....
I was thinking of destroying Paris, first cuz it's my town, second cuz I already have this thought about Paris going under the ground.
There are so much tunnels for the subway and basements like catacombs and stuffs that at the end of the world, I think that the whole town should go under the ground... that may be a good visual....
Actually it's the only one I got so far.....

Well, that's the way I want it to be more or less... I imagine a big fat rain keep on going and going undlessly and that begins to make to city going in pieces, under "mud"..... more or less again lol....

I watch I watch it and things that first appears to me are the water wich has to be more muddy, and the buildings part should be at some diffrent highs....

I wish I have lot of time to do more entries.... I have soe more ideas in mind since I watch yesterday a documentary about the end of the world theories for 2012....
I like the one about the impact of a tenth planet.... that could make a nice space matte painting....
I like also the idea of a scene with many animals running away from something man don't see yet....

I wasn't able to post updates or even work on my matte but since yesterday I want back on this and here is the new one.....

I've worked on gettin rid of the (badly) painted parts... so more textures.... at this point I don't know if I'll put more debris or even cars on the surface of the "smooth" big wave.... but for sure I'll correct the ratio......

I think it will be great if u make your sky more heavy, but it just my opinion

Great work. Always good to see a landmark tower get trashed. The foreground building looks a little like it's floating though. Maybe the perspective is out?
