True enough. Now, instead of quickly, painlessly and humanely shooting people in the head I will have to vivisect them with a gilette razor and a cheesegrater. :crazy:

On the bright side though, it's easyer to smoke or dry thin slices of meat than big chunks. The only options you've got with big chunks is freezing them or making spam, and I hate spam. :ugh:

NEW GLASSES! :D

Well, technically, they put my old glasses (100 euro x2 ) into a new frame (Esprit, 160 euro minus 30% discount) so I don't have new glasses, just a new frame.
They're pretty cool, the frame changes colour and stuff. They're also smaller than my old ones and make my nose look better than it actually is.

If I'm to believe the salesman, I look spicyer in these ones than in the old one (which was unsalvageable anyway) - he saw me last week when I had my glasses bent rightly and had a lengthy conversation about what options for lenses I have with my difficult eyes - they don't make lenses in my cilinder strength except custom ordered which are unaffordeable if you take soft ones and my eyes are probably not going to work with hard ones and stuff. Oh yeah next week I get lenses to try out by the way. So yay on that!!! :D We decided to go with the maximum prescription that they make for standard ones (which is still -2.50 cilinder while my eyes are -4.75 cilinder) and see if I can wear any at all and work from there.

Teehee no I didn't photoshop them. That's my eyecolour - when the light is coming from the side, I have acquamarine eyes. It's a pretty neat trick - mom's got gray eyes and my biological father has ice blue eyes and I have a sort of dark ice blue colour.
Of course with dutch gray weather, they often look a little dull blue.

And your friend looks spontaneous and stuff. :)

lol, glad you guys liked it. We do all kinds of crazy stuff like that here on campus. We're actually in Pittsburgh, PA, USA, so it doesn't get as much snow as I'd like. Kujoe, no I didn't. But I use it as references to draw it as a model for my friend's wedding cards. Biker wedding. Not all leather and beer barels but he took his bride on a motorcycle to the church and he was escorted by about 15 or more motors and almost two dozens of cars. It was quite a wedding and I was really impressed and moved aldo I'm not a big fun of such events.

I dunno. The pullover is actually that color like on the first pic... And my eyes are just blue too. And my room is painted green. It's only the skin hues that are off, which is weird. And the camera only adjust hue as a whole... :grr:

OMG knut, you looks badass... it looks like a rather large variation of an Mp5... where did you get your hands on this thing?

From work. I also have an mp5 and glock but rarely use the mp5. I think we are gonna get rid of them actually. Theyre both H&K and theyre built up pretty much the same way. The major difference is that the mp5 use 9mm while the G3A3 (or AG3) use 7,62mm. And that the G3A3 will kill you instead of hurting you heh. The g3A3 is the standard gun in the norwegian army, but we have modified versions with retractable butts, aimpoints (not on my pic) and sometimes grenade launchers as you see there. Another major factor is that the bigger one weighs over twice as much with all that stash on it, it get pretty heavy in the long run but at least. Due to its size it's a lot easier to aim with (more steady) and can hit targets up to a couple of kilometers. it's a safety thing =)

Boys will be boys... I would rather prefere a sword. No honor in shooting people from afar. Infact, I would rather not prefer any weapon if possible.

Very true Avatar, but a sword won't do any good against a chestrig of explosives. I never was a gun enthusiast, in fact the first time i carried a weapon with live ammunition i was scared as hell, and still am. Not because i thought it would go nuts and kill everyone in my sight, but because what I'm holding in my hands has the potential of taking someone's life if used incorrectly or of course in a live combat situation. Especially that gun there, it is one of the most powerful assault rifles you can get hold of, the m16 is nothing compared to it. If you shoot someone with it, they die. End of story (yes of course they don't ALWAYS die but its a way we use to describe it's power). It is extremely powerful, extremely loud and the noise adds a lot to the scare factor believe me, extremely big, and extremely accurate. It's also almost 40 years old, i think my rifle was produced in 1969, except the butt and grenade launcher. Anyways, as I said, I don't enjoy the company of guns, but it is my job to respect it and be able to use it if the situation should require it. Then why get that kind of job? That's a whole other subject i wont go into (due to off topicness and the fact that it's 6:20 in the moring) unless any of you are interested in knowing :)

Oh and when you alrady got a gun, it's your duty to pose with it and look bad ass! :grr: :D

He's been in the army for like ages now from what I know... Knut are you German or scandinavian? Because in Germany they have that mandatory serving thing and you can only get out of it if they believe your story about moral objections to shooting people and stuff.

Knut, is that a FAL? 7.62 is powerful with a lot of stopping power but the rounds are big and heavy. the gun is too to help keap it acurrate. I have fire one of those and they are very nice and reliable. Well it did not have the gernade launcher. The .223 is a glorified 22 cal bullet but you can carry a lot of rounds and fire it accurately while moving. The two theorys I have read is that with the .223 you can lay down supressive fire longer with less risk of running out of bullets as well as it is easier to keap your army supplied with bullets. The second is that is take more people to treat a wounded soldier than a dead one and the trauma of hearing a friend screaming in pain is not a pleasent one. I would not want to be shot with either and would not want to be in a situation where it was a possibility.

Are we talking war or guns as Josiah said? I have three of them and I was raised around them so I know a bit. Guns are very enjoyable as long as you respect them. War on the other hand I have never witnessed but everyone I have talk to about it pretty much either do not say much or feel the same way as you said it. I would never say War is beautiful or always right, it is just nessesary from time to time. I am not, and do not want to talk about any current events on the matter.
