Seriously, this isn´t cool anymore! And it´s gone far enough for long enough, I mean, ok, this *is* a online message board, and most of us haven´t met each other and never will converse, except through here. Even so, we´ve become buddies, and what we say to each other bears meaning. We may or may not "listen" to what others have to say, but words still have power. They have the power to build up, or break down. The fact that this is "only" a message board is irrelevant, our words still have the same power.

And so, we can´t go on sh*ttalking each other! We can´t gather up and bully a forum member. This can lead to bad consequences. I mean, take for example, a dude, kind of a nerd, doesn´t own many friends in Real-Life, but connects to a group of people with the same interests as him online. And all of a sudden those poeple start picking on him and talking sh*t to him. Now, that´s gonna have a bad effect on the dude. Depending, this can lead to much depression, he´ll start thinking that there must be something wrong with him and conclude he´s not fit in the society, and thus isolate himself.

We all have to be careful in how we act, do and say. Forums and message boards doesn´t change that! We have to be responsible and civilized.

MaggiQue´s from a different culture. With a different emphasis on how to socialize. She may seem a bit weird by our "westernly" standards, but we can´t go and beat her down. She has stated here that she´s bored out of her skull, doesn´t have too many friends (and thus probably feels a bit isolated), her husband´s working all day long, and she´s meant to be "the good housewife". Howd´ya´ll feel if you were in her shoes? probably a bit depressed, don´t ya think? Oh! And if you have been following her posts, instead of just blocking her out, trying to think of some funny/nasty comeback, you´d´ve noticed that her mother-in-law lives/ visits frequently, and sh*ttalks her also, for not being a good enough wife or sumwhat. Hallef**kinglujah, eh? She´s lonely, bored, got a hard @ssed mother-in-law which brings her down, AND THEN THE BEST PART: when she goes online, to comune with us, SHE GETS SH*T THROWN INTO HER YET AGAIN!!!

I doubly commend Glottis on alluding to a very key topic I've thought about many times before. The CG community is way too small to be actually fighting. What you call "friendly banter" might be only how you feel in reguard to this, I don't think we have psichics on the forum to guess how the one beat up takes it. I've seen some people got banned for what they said to MaggiQue. So I guess that must've been reaaaaly nasty if somebody bodered to do that. And one question: were does it stop? On what level of offense do any of you decide to stop? When does it become really hurtful and when its just a joke? If other people started to find this nasty and hurtful wouldn't be that common sense is telling this has gone too far?

These 2 days I'm busy installing softwares and backup data. Some of the software after installing will put some virus into computer.

I have ever seriously verbal abused by my boss in real life (not sexual harrassment), and having some terrible working experience that made me cry on the street, many people were looking at me when I was crying. And I was only 19 yrs old. But it's a very good working experience.

I used to have a lot of pimple on my face and back too a few years ago.

Knut should drink more water and don't let the hair shampoo running over ur back when taking shower. You could apply Aloe Vera gel on ur face and skin to keep them moist, so the pores will not secrete too much oil due to dryness.

MaggieQue LRP is Live Action Roleplay, had to google cosplay to find out what that was ;p I suppose it is kind of like that, but we arnt 'recreating' game or media characters. the characters are of our own creation )

Freespace yup, you can die quite easily in the battles. As a roleplay event you get stabbed with a sword, and well you gotta react like you've been stabbed by a sword (plus a lot of the time it actually does hurt ;p) think of it as kind of fantasy version of paintball. basically its all a very poor excuse for a thousand or so people to get dressed up in armour, and smack each other round the head :D oh and there's some roleplay too.

As i said, its very nerdy, but gret fun ) if you like paintballing or anything like that, and you don't mind dressing up. then you'd probably enjoy it
