I've been growing it for aprox 18 months, starting off from like 1 inch at the longest. I trimmed it twice in the back to prevent the mullet look last year but that's all.

Actually my problem is getting a relation not a girl, and I don't need much sleep besides the fact that in the morning there's nothing much to do (boooring) so I sleep till about 10 am.
