oh come on!
if you're going to be the moderator here, be objective, I don't appreciate being called a hermaphrodite, people joke about stuff all the time, so what I said I'd like to have boobs, it could be fun, no? okay the first comment he throws fine, it's all good, the second one, okay I can take it, but a hermaphrodite???
just because you joke about something doesn't give others the right to start namecalling, I merely gave him back what he gave me and as always, what do you do chris? you blame me

no
if you're moderating and making sure people don't call eachother stuff, please do it right, being called a hermaphrodite isn't much better than being called a retard, they both fall under "namecalling", so who can be the judge of what's worse?
I can't just drop it chris, it's in my nature, someone calls me something, I talk back, you're gonna warn me, warn him aswell, this time I AM RIGHT AND YOU KNOW IT!

Chris, you seriously need to heave yourself into that chainmill, get your sword, and tie a long broad ribbon to a long stick and go like that to the next medieval market, you look just right for it! If Jens will do some serious dress up and Ansgar and I come along with you (assuming I'll have my driver's license of course) and stuff, then that will make for some fabulous pictures I think.
I assume your hair is in a ponytail, not cut? Because that'd be a shame of all the work you had letting it grow, if you'd cut it now.
ClaWda, what's so offensive about the word hemaphrodite? Forgive me, but I honestly don't understand.

A last note on the matter: Hermaphrodite is a scientific term, "retard" in this context is an insult. In any case, it doens't matter what and if you are called somethign first. I expect you to pull yourself together. You have been warned many times, I'm tired of it. I hope you realise that you'Re behaving like a kindergarden child. "Oh, Mr Moderator, he startet it, he insulted me first!"
Discussion over.

I like a couple of braids, but so far I haven't found any way to fix them (and I can't make them myself, that's one of these things little boys are not taught). Lesley used thin copper wire that is usually used for welding copper parts together to fix them., when she made them in SA.

Try your local kruidvat sort of shop where they sell everything from shampoo and soap to candy and medication.
They often have a hairstyle section, there's little plastic/rubber fixings they sell there that are too tiny to even fit around your finger.
Alternatively, zeeman might have something.

Not to kick loose a mindless debate about race, but since when are Italians (please apologize the generalization) not regarded as "white"-skinned anymore?
On a sidenote: Italian is a nationality, white a colour. That's like mixing apples and bananas :p

interesting about the color under the eye thing, let me make this clear, it's [b]NOT[/]b the webcam and even though sleep can make the skin under your eyes darker and "loose", this isn't the case here
from my experience, some asian people simply look like that, now that I think about it, I have tendencies for it too. Some have a stronger look, others like myself, have very little.
So no, it's not sleep, it's not the webcam, it's how you look, take a look in the mirror next time, maybe you haven't payed attention to it because you're so used to your own face, I had to look for mine
so you actually ARE trying to tell me how i look?.. they invented mirrors:D. and its not how i look like:D

r3d - I dunno. Maybe I'll post a pic sometime.
Chris - Northern Italians have tans (my dad's side, for example) - especially after a summer outside (an eight hour sunburn with his shirt off in the middle of summer will be all gone in a day or two), you would never think of him as white. (Caucasian maybe, but not white. I was just using that as a parallel to whatever r3d is - French, Arab, whatever, I don't know - but he's about the same color as the most tanned that I get.) Nobody knows what all is mixed in with it either, but he figures about an eigth non-Italian. My mom's side I think of as white because they're blond to red to light brown, and I have a lot of blond cousins on that side. They don't tan at all, and they burn in a few minutes, but they have white skin.
edit: and yeah, most Italians are white; I was just avoiding the generalization by separating the two out.

I think I read a while ago that dark rings under your eyes can indicate kidney problems, but I'm too lazy to go and verify.
As with white and other race categories, it's a big bunch of bogus. Dshingis Khan's soldiers got all the way to france, there's a village in France where all the population has a certain skin pigmentation on their back that is only seen in asian people.
In great-britain a while ago they took the genes of people who were positively certain that they were 100% white. In 25% of the cases, they found genes that are appropriate to other than the white race. They estimate that's the case with the other three quarters too, just that they don't have genes that are so typical as to filter them out especially.
My mother and I have african ancestors. That's right, black ancestors. Absolutely black. Go figure.
KIDNEY? i doubt it
anyway its gone. stil think its a lack of sleep
Sessy
21-01-2005, 01:22 AM
Yeah. Apparently, when you sleep, some part of your kidneys replicates some sort of hormone which makes the dark circles go away. If you don't sleep, you get circles, but if the function isn't working properly, you get dark circles too.

There's some archives my grandfather's uncle found after WW2 that traced back pretty far.
Look at my mother's hair. They all had hair like that, except before my grandfather, it was black. And the farther you go back in the family up that line, the darker they get.

I don't make you prove your dutch gypsy descent do I? :D
dark color under the eyes is a result of poor blood flow to the small capalaries the lay just under the skin. Many things can cause this, lack of sleep, smoking, heavy drinking, etc. And also it is a genitic thing to.. you could be the most fit person in the world an well rested yet still have dark bags if you were born with small blood vesels there... its pretty common. What work to remove them, well they have creams and what not, but a Dr told me if you heat up a metal rod un till its red hot then poke it in your eye you will no longer be able to see the dark bags under them :D hahahh
really tho, a light massage daily will help the blood to flow there....
PS Italians are white people, we are just the coolest of the white people :D heehe j/k

You've got to give them room to progress, otherwise their minds will collapse from shear confusion :p. I'd say try Pantera, Slayer, Sepultura and some of the more iconic metal bands before you delve into the likes of CoF and CC. Although Amon Amarth isn't all that crazy (damn good tho), mostly just thrash with Death Metal vocals and lots of double kick (well, I guess some people might consider that DM anyways). Now if you really want a headache, listen to Dillinger or Meshuggah while you're working . And if you just want some noise-metal, listen to the insane musicians of Ion Dissonance or Cryptopsy as they produce tumultuous mediocrities :). I could go on forever .

Handball is a sort of soccer, except you use your hands to manipulate the ball, and not your feet. It's actually a relatively easy game. Back in basic school the girls from our class all formed a team in a watered down version of handball league, we even won a contest between all the other schools in the village. I didn't manage to screw that up, although especially back then I certainly wasn't a sportive person.

So is soccer, waterpolo, and any other team sport. I merely tried to point out that the basics of the game aren't very complicated.

Handball is actually resembles basketball much more than it resembles soccer (apart from the goals), but less entertaining. I find it highly repetetive because there is very little variation in the ever re-occuring flow of attack and counter attack. But we're not here to discuss sports, so let's see some of your photos :p

very sure mate. The hookers in amsterdam arent wearing adidas tracksuits and Dam square is a lot more impressive than george square (although our pidgeons are much more hardcore).
Althought one thing about amsterdam is that when you call a taxi you get a Mercedes E class or a BMW 5 series roll up not a Skoda Octavia or 1982 Ford Sierra.

I buy my clothes in Russia. My jeans have a hidden secret temperature layer on the inside - you can wear then with -30 centigrade and not get cold at all.
Though today I'll say I've actually been sweating, overdressed a little. Put on gloves and a good thick woollen woven scarf, it's what you loose most warmth through.
That being said, february is NOT the time to visit the Netherlands. You should've been here a week ago when there was snow, or in august when it's 35 degrees and humidity is 99% or so.
When we were to London it was just as awful there.

sessy - i got a question about amsterdam. do local people there use the cafes much??? the reason I'm wondering is because I'm curious if people smoke cannibis more because it's legal (or decriminalised)? do they smoke it as much as people here smoke cigarettes or drink, because they can???
personally I think it'd be better to have the streets full of stoned people on a friday or saturday night, instead of the binge-drinking yobs we get here....who start fights, urinate in doorways, vandalise peoples cars and generally make complete numpties of themselves :p then turn into alcoholics in later life which also has a knock-on effect and can destroy families thru domestic abuse (which happened to my late uncle :( who I might add was murdered by another alcoholic. R.I.P)

In Eindhoven, a city I live nearby to and in which I've lived for some 6 years, there's a famous street with bars pubs and stuff like that. Anyway there isn't a weekend that goes by that that the police doesn't arrest people for violence and weapons.

crazy, don't you think. and soon i won't be able to enjoy my nicotine in public places here is scotland, while the people tho get pie-eyed and cause all sorts of trouble will be able to do it 24 hours a day. and if i wanna get stoned and relax, i could get arrested for it (not that I smoke cannibis....any more...that much ;))
And on the news last night, they said that just as many people die each year from alcohol related diseases/illness as from smoking related diseases.
I just think that the people who make the laws regarding drugs of any kind have their priorities seriously messed up.

Ross_coe no not everybody here is addicted to marihuana ;) Research showed that the netherlands doesn't have anymore addicts than for example england and a lot less addicts than france. I dont think our laws about marihuana invite to use drugs. Remember cocaine heroine and xtc are still illegal here (although loads of people want it legalized too :P) but were not all pottheads here ;) And yeah lots of people use cafe's like that to use marihuana but i and a few friends of mine just go to the cafe to buy some weed and then go home and smoke some. I smoke weed once a month maybe.
shiroii

I should respond to this, just to be sure people don't think our country is the same as drug heaven, there are people who seriously think that, you say Amsterdam and they say, weed and hookers :( So, this post is all about MJ in the Netherlands, so you can skip it if you feel like, but I don't recommend it
Anyhow, Mari j isn't legal here, there just isn't much attenention spend to it. Like in pulp fiction:
It's legal, but it ain't a hundred percent legal,. I mean, you can't walk into a restaurant, roll the joint and start puffin away, they want you to smoke it at home or certain designated places.
Jules: Known as a hasjbar right?
Vincent: K, it breaks down like this, it's legal to own it, it's legal to carry it and if you're the propieter of a hasjbar it's legal to sell it, it's legal to carry it (but that doesn't matter) get a load of this. If you get stopped by a cop in Amsterdam, it's ILLIGAL for them to search ya, THAT'S the right the cops actually don't have
This is precicly how it is. You can do it and they won't mind you doing it as long as you keep a hold of it and don't bother other people with it. If you start smoking in a public place and people are bothered by the sight or smell and the cops ask you to leave, they have that right and you should be so kind to go away. There is an age limit to it. You must be 18 or over to buy some in a hasjbar, which is always the smartest. NEVER buy from the streets!!! In a hasjbar you can see the stuff you get and you know they're bound to a lot of rules which are strictly controled, street people might mess with it, important tip for tourists I guess :)
For as far as I know, the cops DO have the right to search you, but they can't punnish you for having it. It doesn't matter how old you are, you can carry it as long as you're not carrying more than 5 gramms. If they stop you for having it and you're under 18, there's a chance they want you to come with you and put you in a record on something, no biggie.
I think it's much better this way then when it's totally illigal. Lots of people are bitching about the evilness of it, but beer is much more evil. If you take too much weed you'll just get stoned, maybe fall a sleep or laugh a lot. You'd mainly be relaxed and no way you'll bother to go on the streets and start irritating other people. If you take too much alcohol on the other hand you might get very loud, start irritating other people, picking fights etc. This is of course in a too much situation, if you keep alcohol under control and you know when to stop it'll all be ok and you'll have a nice night. But I think it's unfair to say beer is better than weed and there are quite some people who have this mindset, which means they don't really realize what they're doing. Also the amount of addicted and experimenting people is much lower here than in other countries.
So please know:
-Not everyone is addicted here.
-You'll have to smoke it in certain areas, not just everywhere you want.
- There are strict rules you should respect, even though some of them are rather loose.
-There are actually less addicted people here than in other countries.
-It's not just in Amsterdam, it's in the whole country, same rules
-It's a softdrugs, not a harddrugs
-It only messes with your mind if you regulary take too much, just a few times won't mind to much, keep it under control!(unless you're having mental problems(contact dr for advise))
-addictedness is your own fault, MJ's got nothing to do with it. It's mentally addicting, meaning you might think you need it, it's not physically addicting like heroine or something like that. If you get addicted and can't stop you have a weak mind, don't blame anything else but yourself
There's much more to say about it, but this is getting rather long :o Thanks for reading :)
EDIT: I do not recommend or say you should do it, it's all up to you, you're the only one who can decide. I just want you to have a correct image and good info, not some politically exagerated and twisted image. If you've got questions about mj in the netherlands feel free to PM me :)

thanks for the info shiroii - i was just curious as to peoples attitudes towards Mary-J, so thats answered a few questions :) and you're right about it being mentally addictive....but it's easy to stop smoking it if you want (unlike nicotine or alcohol consumption). I don't mind saying that about 10/11 years ago I smoked a helluva lot of Mary-J....but I was never addicted and when i decided to quit i did (I consider myself strong minded i think, and i only started smoking it because I found out a lot of info about it when I was 15...not because of peer pressure or anything like that).
Anyways, I'm not saying it's cool to take ANY drugs (be it alcohol or mary-j or whatever)....but some of us do and will in the future and it's best to be educated about what you're getting yourself in for.

As for driving that's legal after you're 18 - it's legal to take driving lessons after you're 18. Chances are you won't be actually driving till you're 19 or 20.
well one of the reasons ( correct me if im wrong) that usa has a high percentage of illegal weed or so is after the years 1920 , when the alcohol and drugs were prohibited , people just wanted to violate the rules , just for the sake of violating them,
if you know what i mean .. like at school , you cant do this or that.. you go do it just to provoque , or just for fun of violating codes

Poland is part of the European Community since last summer or so, yes. But I'd not call Poland a European country.
Turkey, Romania will be part of Europe soon, that's not Europe either. The Baltic countries joined as well, they're also not Europe, they're the baltic countries. I think you need to make the difference based on cultural grounds. Certainly, in 20-30 years, Poland will have changed a lot and, if the Polish are misfortunate, they'll have given up their culture to a point where they are Europe too. But I don't think that'd be a positive thing.
I hope the Slavic countries that are joining will keep most of their Slavic culture and not mistake that for the European culture, which certainly isn't superior to the Polish. Therefore replacing the original culture by the European one isn't justified.
ross_coe
15-02-2005, 07:23 AM
i'm sure the slavic countries will keep their sense of national identity :) most people around the world are very reluctant to give up their pride in their traditions and customs. i think that the UK is a good example of this....we're made up of 4 countries (england, scotland, northern ireland and wales) but we all keep and take pride in our own national identities, cultures and languages (altho not enough people in scotland speak gaelic :p). at the same time, most of us think of ourselves as british as well....and i guess european too. i guess living in the UK is one of those rare cases where you're living in 2 countries at the same time (ie. scotland and britain :p), and britian must be one of the only countries with 4 capital cities (edinburgh, london, cardiff and belfast).
anyways, it's hard to get rid of tradition and national identity i think....even under the most extreme of regimes and conditions

The Federal Republic of Russia is also a strange case. Officially, the capital is Moscow, but anybody from St Petersburg will explain to you why St Petersburg is also a capital. Nobody will doubt that Grozny is THE capital for Chechnya, and not Moscow, even though Chechnya is part of the federal republic, and a lot of the other muslim Russian states feel the same way about their capitals (without the anger the chechens feel about the matter though). And then there's the Kossacks who also fail to see how faraway Moscow has anything to do with their way of life, and some other groups as well. Not to mention eastern Russia with their Vladivostok and stuff.

About Europe: There is no such thing as "European Culture". On the contrary there are multiple cultures, each of the countries that form the European Union has its own. It is nonsese to believe that there is such a thing as a unified culture or that this is anticipated. The European Union is an international trade and commerce colaboration. Of course a feeling of "belonging-together" is intended but that cannot be mistaken for a complete cultural unity.

That's right, although it differs a bit from the original image. It's just the first part of an image that will cover my whole left arm =)
And don't worry, I'm harmless. ^^

LOL, i`ve seen a discussion about my country on the page before, anyone want to know something or it`s closed subject ?
I would be glad to discuss about my country, even if it`s not so perfect here :/
Like Sessy said, most of young people emigrate from here, looking for job, because (i think) we got the LOWEST reward in Europe, and there are no conditions to work, even to study :(((
Is this what u meant Sessy ? I think i get it right ;)

AK5 > MP5
AG3 + MP5 > AK5
I removed two wisdom teeth and would gladly pose with my guns if my face didn't look like a car acident. :D
Actually, guns suck but they're cool to pose with =D

Well this particular tattoo is done (it just needs some touching up after easter), but the whole thing won't be finished yet. I'm gonna do the whole arm.

Hmm I'm not sure that we're talking about the same stuff here. You're talking economical reasons for why the youth SHOULD leave, and I'm talking cultural heritage...

I hear there is people who have affectionate relationships to objects. One Women apparently was shocked when she had to move out of her apartment because she had a very deep relationship with her fireplace.
If you can love a fireplace you can just as well love a gun. I guess.
True, but making love in front of an AK47 probably aint as great as in front of a fireplace.

Cultural heritage ? Why do you think so ?..... I always thought that people are emigrating from POLAND only because they are thinking, that they can achieve better future in Europe
Could you simplify your post for me, please ? :)
Sessy
17-02-2005, 10:17 PM
LOL nevermind :D
Basically, I'm worried that becoming part of Europe for poland will mean that they loose their cultural heritage. It's well-known how everybody was suddenly into wearing jeans and taking over American culture after the wall fell in 1989, I'm afraid this will have a similar effect, that's all. That the youth won't feel it's "cool" to be polish anymore, because Poland isn't a very rich country, and that because it's not "cool" to behave Polish, they'll forget their heritage.

I'm not sure I'd like to make love in front of a fireplace, unless it's on a bear skin fur that was shot with a bigass gun beforehand. :D
Well plz, real men hunt bears with bare hands only!

Me and Chris used to have a relationship and we agreed we'd keep things friendly when we broke up, but occasionally we get on eachother's nerves nonetheless. :grr:
Dont be talking smack about cats! I love cats... and u dont want to make USED mad, and unleash his wild killer cats on u.
Cant we all just get along.. (the great Rodney King, hahha) I have an idea, I think that all the threedy members should pose nude on a huge bear skin rug, for like a odd family photo :D

Hey David,
Looking that you are from Romania, I went to the dentist yesterday, and my dentists assistant was born there, she is beautiful, I didn't know that you where hiding hot girls there, I also didn't know that your language is closest to Italian.. I learned so much yesterday :)

You should take a vacation here, you'd be surprised with many things (good and bad alike). The girls would be a very solid reason not to leave the country ;)
Yeah, the romans did a number on the indigens (although it wasn't easy) and the romanian kept about 60% of the latin vocabulary and grammar. The rest of it is what's left of the indigen language and from the slave (i dunno if this is how it's spelled in english, it doesn't mean the humans that are forced to work) migrators
