LOL cool belt. :D
08-12-2009, 06:37 AM
Cool! Really severe man :)
08-12-2009, 11:21 AM
looking good so far man simple, but effective.
08-12-2009, 06:01 PM
Yes he too is "All out of Bubblegum!"
Looks good...is your shirt its own polygroup or still apart of the body mesh?
08-12-2009, 08:02 PM
Geri0n It's all one mesh. I was gonna make it separately, but don't have mach time so used this shortcut
12-12-2009, 11:16 AM
Very coll. Reminds me of Duke Nukem style too. I like belt too.
12-12-2009, 08:30 PM
Great proportions and sculpt of the muscle! but head not so impressive. May be add some corrections to eyebrows and smooth wings of the nose.
16-12-2009, 04:55 PM
Thanks. Fbios I'll see what I can do with the head.
16-12-2009, 09:00 PM
strange shoes , i thing they are to high , but all together is awesome ...go on like it
16-12-2009, 09:31 PM
looking good, looking good.
Those shoes are classic Specialboy, dunno what you mean by "strange" :haha:
16-12-2009, 11:14 PM
Nice progress, but I think that the arms are short.
GO Big guy!
17-12-2009, 03:13 AM
legs are also a little on the skinny side
17-12-2009, 08:54 AM
cool he reminds me an x-treme skier that was really big in the early 2k's
17-12-2009, 11:49 PM
Thanks guys. Extended his arms a bit, widened legs and added the backpack.
18-12-2009, 02:13 AM
Nice:) He reminds me of the action movie heroes and video game heroes from the 80's and early 90's. The kinda guys from games like Duke Nukem and Bad Dudes, and action movies like Commando. In summary; this guy's awesome.
22-12-2009, 09:20 PM
Final Highpoly. Lowpoly is comming.
22-12-2009, 09:28 PM
really good, love the folds on the pants. :)
23-12-2009, 08:32 AM
Very cool rucksack! And I think this thing on his left arm is not wanted..But it's just my opinion:)
23-12-2009, 08:50 AM
why don't u try a chain around his forearm?
23-12-2009, 08:54 AM
I mean a long chain that he can use to beat up people...like most of the forearm wrapped in the chain and maybe a loose end held by the hand with a metal ball at the end...
...sorry for the double post!
23-12-2009, 01:59 PM
Here's lowpoly with normal map and AO(7274 tris). Good idea with the chain. Maybe I'll try it, since I don't like current weapon anyway.
23-12-2009, 05:31 PM
Very clean, good job.
23-12-2009, 08:56 PM
Hey, Martin_x, nice to see you in this challenge. Character looks grate, I really like his gun. Good job.:)
27-12-2009, 03:17 PM
Thanks. Textures update:
27-12-2009, 03:31 PM
wow really good ... go on like it ...
28-12-2009, 08:55 PM
Remade jeans' texture
29-12-2009, 04:50 PM
Textured the gun, modified normal map a little and added specular map.
29-12-2009, 06:53 PM
now all you need to do is upload the final images to the final entry thread. You could be the first one done. Hurry, Hurry.
29-12-2009, 07:05 PM
Got to rig and pose him first). And maybe I'll add some alpha hair/beard since i have some extra texture space after I deleted that left-arm collar. I'm not sure if I'll make the pedestal though.
30-12-2009, 08:43 AM
i guess that jeans are to clean. Looks like brand new. Make them dirty!
30-12-2009, 04:19 PM
Kraken there were some dirt on jeans but evidently not noticeable enough so I added some more. Here's a couple of possible winning shots.

Looking good. How do you pose him? in max? Ive never posed or rigged a character before
30-12-2009, 04:58 PM
I used maya to rig him. And another simple variant. I think I'll go with this one.
30-12-2009, 11:44 PM
like it, although I have to say I like the first comp you posted before with all the red chaos on the back, awesome work none the less.
01-01-2010, 04:31 PM
Very cool. Only crit is that the shoes look kinda green all over. Sort of a glowing green. Maybe if the sides were white, or the saturation was tweaked a little bit it would be even more realistic. I really like the model. It does remind me a bit of Duke Nukem, which is a very good thing.
01-01-2010, 11:30 PM
Thanks guys. I desaturated my final submissions.
04-01-2010, 08:55 AM
Congrats on finishing model!!! awesome job!
