Not much to add from me...
She is looking pretty good :D
I liked the shape, and the size of her legs on the first zbursh picture that you gave us earlier.
I hope you will be able to finish this.

exigaen for the first sketch i use only zbrush with zspheres for body and polysphere for head to feel the form and define proportions. after i do retopology in 3d max with polyboost on different parts of character and back it in zbrush for final detailed.
Cordero Has looked this morning at my picture. Probably it is necessary to make feet more graceful :)

cool :) its always nice to get an idea of others preferred workflow. i do something similar myself, but using maya and Nex :)

Mr.fE thx !
corrected proportions and made the base of spear and knife.

The character is looking great so far. I love the knife design, but to be honest, I'm just not feeling the spear yet. I think it's a little too straight edged on top, but that's just my opinion.
Keep it going, and let's see some more updates.
Cordero
09-12-2009, 09:46 PM
Yeah i think these legs looks better.
I agree with SR_6274, you should do something with the spear. Maybe a longer "sticking" part if you know what i mean.
Great work, keep it up!

I on the contrary think longer legs look better. But anyway great job with sculpting.

I guess with shorter legs she gives more the idea of a "combative woman" while the log ones are obviously more "sexy"
...I'll go for short...just for the sake of the background story!

Watch out for the lower/higher leg ratio... Right now the thighs seem a bit long. Also care with the shoulder/hip width...
Keep em coming

Good work. Looks nice, but try to divide border edges like this. i think that it solve the problem.

Too much symmetry for my taste, but other than that it's looks okay.

restyled her hair. How to you?

16-12-2009, 03:19 PM
looking good :) i'd add a bit of variation between in the folds to break the symmetrical look but really that's nit picking.

man, throw some textures on there, you got like 4 days. With the way your normals came out, you just need a few flat colors and no one would know the difference.

yes man .. BIG TOE have right ... u have done almost all the job ....when u have the model unwraped and baked normal maps ... texturing from there is easy ...coz u have the details on ur normal map .
do this :
open ur normal map in Photoshop make it gray and over it create new layer and there paint basic colors ... after it just play with the blending modes and u have it ,,,
u already have the camera view just put the texture and ur done ,,, hope even to win 3d total t-shirt -like i do :) - for me it`s really priceless :)
best luck

I agree. Seems it would be a shame to do 95% of the work, then not finish the textures and submit it. It would be a great piece to put in your portfolio.

I come back! :)
I read your posts and and decided to draw a texture very quickly (this is result of 6 hours). I know that there are many mistakes but it is final. tomorrow will draw the texture of the knife and spear and make the pose.
Thx guys that convinced me to continue :)
